Inspired by a Christmas gift for family and friends made with her sons many years ago, our new Puffer HUG™ is designed to be your go-to wrap for chilly days, with its durable and modern puffer outside, and a super soft fleece inside. The Puffer HUG™ can also be styled as a scarf, or folded over and draped down your chest for added warmth under your winter outerwear.

Origin Story

It all began when my two sons were much younger (now 18 & 23) and wanted to make Christmas gifts for extended family that were meaningful & useful. The catch was we needed an idea simple enough for the kids to create, while being something that would be cherished by their grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins. We happened upon a wrap pattern that could easily be made out of fleece. After some thought, we decided to call it a HUG, because that’s what our kids really wanted to give family members for the holiday… a big, warm, enveloping hug. As the Gigi Seasons team and I were developing ideas for our Fall/Winter Collection, I remembered how much everyone adored those “HUGS” we created so long ago. Many friends and family members still have them tucked away for a brisk morning, chilly evening, or a simple reminder that they’re incredibly loved. 2020 seemed the perfect year to bring back the HUGS…something we’ve all been deeply missing from friends and far away family, for sure. We truly hope you and your favorite people love it as much as we do! Now, who’s ready for a big ol’ HUG!?

Like a warm pillow around your neck

I absolutely love my puffer hug. There's no scarf like it. It's incredibly comfortable, doesn't feel constricting nor does it get too hot. It feels like your favorite pillow and the pockets are just a bonus to the thoughtful design.

My wife loves it!

I gave my wife a Puffer Hug for her birthday. She had never seen one before and was not sure what to think. But she came to love it very quickly. She gets cold easily, even in our house. She likes wearing it while watching TV, etc. Keeps her neck and shoulders warm without having to use a big blanket or put another layer on. She also finds the pockets handy for her phone. It would be nice if they zipped closed.

Ordered the puffer hug and the bright yellow purse for a friend and leg warmers for me. All quality is great and quick turnaround and great customer service when I needed to switch my order after I placed it.

I loved the Puffer Hugs I ordered. I gave them to my sisters and Nieces and kept one for me. They roll up and travel well and keep your shoulders warm.
